What is a Republican? 

The dictionary says: 

adjective (of a form of government, constitution, etc.) belonging to, 

or characteristic of a republic.

noun

1. 1.a person advocating or supporting republican government."those who favored the continuance of the republic made every effort to defeat the monarchists and to have republicans elected in their places"
2. 2.a member or supporter of the Republican Party

It's hard to say what a Republican is for sure, some are considered hard Republicans, some soft Republicans, and some the Flavor of the Day!

Regardless of where you stand at the end of the day when it's time to vote you have to decide which party you are voting for, so it's best to do your homework and find out what the candidate stands for and if elected make sure they stand up to what they canvassed on, as elected officials are paid with taxpayer money and they should be representing you the voter!
